Two POSSIBLE High School Musical 3 spoilers!

June 30th, 2008, 1:16 pm by Julia Zolondz

I don’t like to post stuff that isn’t absolutely confirmed by the studio, but two details about HSM3 leaked this weekend that i really HOPE are true because it makes the movie sound SO FUN! (BTW- filming has WRAPPED in Utah. oh man…)

  •  Instead of Sharpay’s Sharpettes from HSM2, look for Ryan’s Rockettes!
  • AND a possible tracklist that includes only ONE solo (it goes to Ryan!) and “We’re All In This Together (Graduation Version)

Source: High School Musical 3: Graduation News

Again, these are just RUMORS but even rumors are getting me totally psyched! What do you think about the possible spoilers? Do they sound cool or cheezy?

Collecting box tops for your school? Here’s how to win 100,000!

Parents and legal guardians of students in grades K through 8 can enter the sweepstakes once daily from June 28 through Sept. 15 online at http://www.rockbacktoschool.com/. More than 1,000 winners will enjoy prizes that include 1,000 Bonus Box Tops and autographed copies of one of Pruitt’s CDs. One grand prize winner will win a Jordan Pruitt concert at his or her child’s school and 100,000 Bonus Box Tops. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries on or around Sept. 22.

To celebrate its partnership with the Box Tops for Education program, Kimberly-Clark is launching the Rock Your School Sweepstakes to offer parents a chance to win 100,000 Bonus Box Tops, plus an exclusive concert featuring Radio Disney star and Hollywood Records artist Jordan Pruitt for their child’s school.

The Box Tops for Education fundraising program supports schools with grades K through 8 by providing cash for each Box Top consumers send in from specially marked packages of participating Kimberly-Clark brands. Dozens of K-C product packages display the Box Tops logo, including trusted brands like Kleenex, Cottonelle and Kotex. In the last year, Kimberly-Clark contributed more than $4 million to America’s schools through its partnership with Box Tops for Education.

Bonus Box Tops go a long way. Here is what 100,000 of them — equivalent to $10,000 — could mean to the average classroom:

– Technology Upgrades: A mobile cart complete with 20 laptops with wireless capabilities to allow travel from classroom to classroom

– The Necessities: Enough No. 2 pencils that, laid pencil to eraser, would stretch across the length of more than 145 football fields

– Hands-on Learning Outside the Classroom: A class trip for 20 students in Los Angeles, Calif., to visit Washington, D.C. — including airfare, hotel accommodations and a guided tour of the Capital

Rock Back to School

In addition to the 100,000 Bonus Box Tops prize, the winning school also will receive a concert featuring pop singer Jordan Pruitt. Pruitt will perform songs from both her new album “Permission to Fly,” available this summer, and her debut album, “No Ordinary Girl.” Pruitt, 17, is no stranger to the stage. In her three-year career, she’s opened for the Jonas Brothers, the Cheetah Girls and Vanessa Hudgens, and even performed at the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll this year.

“When I was in grade school, my mom and I always clipped Box Tops together, and it was great to see how much money my school raised,” said Pruitt. “So I’m excited to work with Kimberly-Clark to help award a lucky school such an awesome prize.”

What did YOU think of Camp Rock?

June 24th, 2008, 2:08 pm by Julia Zolondz

The numbers are in for “Camp Rock” and it’s a hit! And the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are back for a sequel!

So what did you think of the movie? I liked a few songs (especially the dance number, above) and Demi was fun to watch, but I kinda fell asleep during one part. Julie Brown was startingly annoying! For a DCOM, I thought it was along the lines of pre-”High School Musical” movies… even “Jump In” had a better script and production value! But hey, that’s just my opinion! I’ll probably watch the last scene again, that song’s ALWAYS stuck in my head!

Today is the LAST DAY to buy a family four-pack of lawn seats for the Jonas Brothers July 11 concert at Cricket Wireless Pavillion in Phoenix. The special offer is four tickets for $90 (plus fees), that’s $10 less than a lawn ticket alone! Get them at ticketmaster till 10 p.m.

Get the NEW ALBUM Aug. 12!

The Jonas Brothers album “A Little Bit Longer” will hit stores August 12. The CD is a follow up to the platinum selling Jonas Brothers CD which debuted at 5 on Billboard’s Top 200 last August on Disney’s Hollywood Records. The first single from A Little Bit Longer will be “Burnin’ Up,” and the video will be an action packed James Bond-esque adventure. “Burning Up” is also the name of Jonas Brothers’ upcoming headline arena tour that kicks off July 4 in Toronto with special guest Demi Lovato. Jonas Brothers recorded much of A Little Bit Longer while on tour last fall in a specially outfitted Gibson tour bus. John Fields returns as executive producer of their new CD. Jonas Brothers previewed three new tracks from A Little Bit Longer on their recently wrapped “When You Look Me In The Eyes” tour, including “Burnin’ Up,” “Little Bit Longer” and “Pushing Me Away.” “Burnin’ Up” is a funky, rhythmic dance and guitar driven number, while “Little Bit Longer” is a poignant account of Nick Jonas’ life as a diabetic, and “Pushing Me Away” is pure Jonas-emo. The band’s songwriting on the new album shows their musical growth and depth like never before.

And if that’s not enough Jonas for you… buy the “Camp Rock” DVD on Tuesday, August 19!
